The Revival of Gucci

2016 saw the revival of one of the world’s most reputable luxury brands in the consumer market: Gucci. The company took advantage of a complete overhaul of its design aesthetic headed by Alessandro Michele who gave the brand a refreshed and youthful take on fashion by utilizing vintage inspired clothing and creating wearable art that took the fashion world by storm. The “Revival of Gucci” editorial was a symbolic tribute to this change as it showcased the spirit of youth through the eyes of grown men. In addition, we also showcased select pieces from the Gucci Spring/Summer 2016 menswear collection to help tie in the brand and theme of the editorial. The campaign was launched on Instagram which showcased photos and video vignettes of products to help promote the Gucci brand to a younger buyer to help acclimate them and grow them into becoming loyal consumers. The campaign was a success by reaching thousands in exposure asking for more information on pieces leading to purchases and even gained recognition from Gucci Corporate offices in New York and Milan, Italy.
